Ocoya vs Sprout Social
The premium enterprise suite — care, listening and analytics, priced per seat.
Sprout Social is the premium end of the category and does not pretend otherwise: social customer care with case management and CSAT, review moderation across Yelp, Trustpilot and Glassdoor, Salesforce and Zendesk integrations, and the deepest analytics here. Every one of those prices is per seat, and the plan that lifts the five-profile cap is $299 per seat per month. A five-person team on Professional is $1,495/mo before the Listening add-on. Ocoya is a flat plan with the seats included and the production tools — AI copy, image and video generation, the Design Studio — in the price. If social customer care is your programme, Sprout is genuinely better at it. If your problem is producing the posts, the maths is not close.
Where each one is stronger.
Every claim in the Sprout Social column comes from a page they publish, checked in September 2026. Rows where they are ahead are marked as such.
| Capability | ||
|---|---|---|
| Entry price | $29/mo on Starter — 1 user, 5 social profiles, 300 AI credits | $79 per seat/month billed annually on Essentials ($99 monthly) — 5 social profiles, publishing and reporting only |
| Team seats | 1, 5 or 20 users depending on plan — seats are part of the plan, not an add-on | Every plan is priced per seat — five people on Standard is $995/mo, on Professional $1,495/mo |
| Price for a full-featured plan | $79/mo on Team — 5 users, 20 social profiles, 1,500 AI credits | $199 per seat/month on Standard, still capped at 5 social profiles; $299 per seat/month on Professional to lift the cap |
| AI copywriting | AI captions from a prompt, with brand voice, tone and length controls, on every plan — plus rewrite, shorten, expand, tone and translate-into-37-languages on any caption | AI Assist enhances a post you have written, from the $299/seat Professional plan; alt text generation on every plan. 100 AI agent credits per seat per month |
| AI image & video | AI image and AI video generation in-app, from the same credit pool | A built-in image editor plus Canva and Adobe Express integrations — no AI image or video generation advertised |
| Campaign generation | One prompt becomes a whole campaign — posts, visuals and a schedule across every network | Content suggestions and bulk scheduling from Professional; posts are still written one at a time |
| Design tooling | Design Studio built in — templates, brand kit and a full editor in the same tab as the calendar | Built-in image editor and a digital asset library from Professional; Canva and Adobe Express for the rest |
| Networks | 14 integrations: Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Bluesky, Threads, YouTube Shorts, Google Business, TikTok, Discord, Dribbble, Kick and WooCommerce | Ten for publishing — Instagram, X, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok, Threads, YouTube and Messenger — plus review and messaging platforms from Standard: Google Business Messages, Yelp, Trustpilot, Glassdoor, TripAdvisor and WhatsApp |
| Unified inbox | DMs, comments and mentions from every connected profile, with assignment, open/resolved statuses and internal notes | The Smart Inbox from Standard up, with case management, collision detection and review moderation — not on Essentials |
| Social customer care | Not offered — the inbox has assignment, statuses and notes, but no case routing or survey tooling | Case routing, macros, chatbots, CSAT and NPS surveys and sentiment on the $399/seat Advanced plan |
| Workflow automation | Visual workflows automate publishing and replies, and can be triggered by an AI agent | Publishing and inbox rule builders on the $399/seat Advanced plan |
| MCP / AI assistant control | mcp.ocoya.com — an OAuth-secured MCP server covering the whole product: create, design, schedule, run workflows and switch brands. Included on every plan | No MCP server published; the Sprout API arrives on the $399/seat Advanced plan |
| Social listening | Not offered | Keyword and brand monitoring from Standard; full Listening is a paid add-on on Standard and up |
| Paid ads | Not offered | Paid promotion for Facebook and Instagram on every plan; paid performance reports from Professional |
| Analytics | Post and profile performance in-app | The deepest reporting here — competitor, paid and tag reports from Professional, scheduled delivery and BI export on Advanced, Premium Analytics as an add-on |
| Approval workflows | Request approval on any post: pick which brand members review it, they get an email with one-click approve or reject, and the post cannot publish until it is approved. Every decision is logged on the post. Not gated behind a higher tier | Message approval workflow from the $299/seat Professional plan; external approvals only on Advanced |
| Enterprise access control | Not offered | Advanced permissions from Professional, feature visibility controls and IP whitelisting on Advanced, SSO on Enterprise |
| Free trial | 7-day free trial of the full product | 30-day free trial, no credit card required |
