Ocoya vs CoSchedule
A marketing calendar with social attached, priced per profile.
CoSchedule comes at social from the marketing calendar side, and two of its features land close to ours: an AI Campaign Assistant that builds a whole campaign at once, and unlimited AI image generation on every plan. Most tools in this list have neither. Where it costs you is the allowance — Starter is three social profiles and one seat, X profiles are billed separately from every plan, extra profiles are $5/mo and an extra seat on Professional is $29/mo. Ocoya includes five profiles at $29 and twenty at $79, with video generation and the Design Studio in the same price. If you want one calendar across blog, email and social, CoSchedule earns it. If social is the job, the maths favours us.
Where each one is stronger.
Every claim in the CoSchedule column comes from a page they publish, checked in September 2026. Rows where they are ahead are marked as such.
| Capability | ||
|---|---|---|
| Free plan | No free plan — a 7-day free trial instead | A free marketing calendar, capped at 15 posts per profile |
| Entry price | $29/mo on Starter — 1 user, 5 social profiles, 300 AI credits | $29/mo billed annually on Starter ($39 monthly) — 1 seat and 3 social profiles, with X profiles billed separately and extra profiles at $5/mo each |
| Team seats | 1, 5 or 20 users depending on plan — seats are part of the plan, not an add-on | 1 seat on Starter, 2 on Professional; each additional seat is $29/mo |
| AI copywriting | AI captions from a prompt, with brand voice, tone and length controls, on every plan — plus rewrite, shorten, expand, tone and translate-into-37-languages on any caption | AI Social Writer on every plan, with brand voice profiles on Suite |
| AI image & video | AI image and AI video generation in-app, from the same credit pool | Unlimited AI image generation on every plan — but no video generation |
| Campaign generation | One prompt becomes a whole campaign — posts, visuals and a schedule across every network | Smart Campaigns — their AI Campaign Assistant builds and schedules a whole campaign, on every plan |
| Design tooling | Design Studio built in — templates, brand kit and a full editor in the same tab as the calendar | AI image generation and a smart editor — no template library or brand kit |
| Networks | 14 integrations: Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Bluesky, Threads, YouTube Shorts, Google Business, TikTok, Discord, Dribbble, Kick and WooCommerce | Eleven: Bluesky, Facebook, Google Business Profile, Instagram, LinkedIn, Mastodon, Pinterest, TikTok, Threads, YouTube and X — X is not included in the base plans and is billed separately |
| Unified inbox | DMs, comments and mentions from every connected profile, with assignment, open/resolved statuses and internal notes | Facebook and Instagram only on Starter; the all-network inbox with AI replies starts on Professional |
| Workflow automation | Visual workflows automate publishing and replies, and can be triggered by an AI agent | ReQueue automates recurring promotion and resharing on every plan — no visual workflow builder |
| MCP / AI assistant control | mcp.ocoya.com — an OAuth-secured MCP server covering the whole product: create, design, schedule, run workflows and switch brands. Included on every plan | No MCP server published |
| White label | Not offered | White labelling and client calendars from the $49/mo Professional plan |
| Enterprise access control | Not offered | Roles, per-user permissions and SSO on the Suite plan |
| Free trial | 7-day free trial of the full product | 14-day free trial on any plan |
