Our autumn menu launches today. Here is everything that’s new, and the playlist we’ll have on in store all week. roastery.com/autumn

Setting it up

Pick the channel on Slack's screen. That's it.

Ocoya connects through Slack's own install screen, where you choose the team and the channel. Nothing to copy, no bot to configure — and a private channel works the same way, because Ocoya adds itself to it as it connects.

  • Public and private channels
  • Ocoya posts only in the channel you picked
  • Connect again to add another channel

From the Ocoya app

Posts arrive the way Slack shows every app.

Scheduled posts come from the Ocoya app, not from your personal account, so nobody's name is on a message they didn't send by hand. Links unfurl as they do when anyone pastes one.

Ocoya never pings @channel, @here or anyone else, even if the words are in your caption.

Files

Ten images and videos, one message.

Put the photos, the clip and the GIF on one draft and they land together under your text, the way Slack groups any set of files. No need to split them across posts.

  • Images, video and GIFs in any mix, up to ten
  • Up to 40,000 characters of text
  • Design the visuals in Studio without leaving the calendar

The limits, before you hit them.

Ocoya checks these while you write, rather than letting the post fail on the day it was meant to go out.

If someone removes the Ocoya app from Slack, Ocoya flags the channel straight away instead of on the day a post was due. Disconnect your last Slack channel and Ocoya removes itself from the team. Read how we handle your data in our privacy policy.

Running a Discord server too?

Select both on one draft and the same announcement reaches your Slack channel and your Discord server at the same minute, written once.
