Keep the community posted, on schedule.

Ocoya publishes to the forums inside your Whop communities — the headline, the write-up and the files that go with it — planned on the same calendar as every other network instead of remembered on the morning of the drop.

October drop: the retention teardown

Write-up

Three teardowns this month, all of them on churn. Full recording plus the spreadsheet are attached below.

— Ask anything in the thread, I’m answering all week.

Posted to one forum. Pick several and each gets its own thread.

Every forum is a channel

One draft, every forum it belongs in.

A company can run as many forums as it likes — announcements, wins, support — and each connects separately. Pick the ones a post belongs in, across as many communities as you run, and Ocoya opens a thread in each.

  • One connectable channel per forum, not per community
  • The community name rides along, so duplicates stay distinguishable
  • A post is addressed to one forum, so each gets its own thread

Announcements

Two forums are both called Announcements. The community name rides along on each one, so you always know which is which.

Long-form

Room to actually say something.

A Whop post is not a caption with a link — it is the place your paying members come to read. Give it a headline, break it up with sections and lists, and it lands looking the way you wrote it rather than as one grey block of text.

The recording goes up with the post, not after it.

Whop needs a minute with a large video before it can go on a post. Ocoya waits for it to be ready instead of publishing the announcement without the recording attached — which is the version your members would have seen.

  • Up to 10 images, GIFs or videos on a post
  • Images, GIFs and video all welcome on the same post
  • A file that will not upload tells you, rather than failing silently

What Whop accepts

A forum post, with room to say something.

Worth knowing before you plan a series around it — a headline, a long write-up and the files that go with it.

Connecting asks Whop to read your forums, so they can be listed as channels; to name the companies they sit in, so two forums both called “Announcements” can be told apart; and to create forum posts, the only permission that can publish.

Announce it in both places at once.

Most Whop communities run a Discord alongside the forums. Select both on one draft and the same announcement reaches the forum thread and the server channel at the same minute — written once, with each network’s own limits applied for you.

Let the weekly post write itself

A schedule trigger, an AI agent and one action are enough to keep a forum moving every week — the digest, the wins thread, the reminder — without anyone opening the composer.
