Your stream chat, on the schedule.

Twitch has no post feed — chat is where a channel speaks. Ocoya schedules messages to it from the same calendar as every other network, and turns a long caption into a chain of replies rather than cutting it off.

Long captions

Write past 500 and it still arrives whole.

Twitch caps a single chat message at 500 characters. Rather than truncating, Ocoya splits the caption and posts each part as a reply to the one before — the same way a long X or Mastodon caption becomes a thread.

  • Split where Twitch actually cuts a message off
  • Each part replies to the last, so chat reads it as one thread
  • Emoji counted generously, so a message never bounces

Honest status

A dropped message is a failure, not a success.

Twitch will take your message and then quietly not show it — AutoMod holding it for review, followers-only mode, a ban you did not know about. Ocoya checks whether it really landed in chat and flags the ones that did not, so your calendar is not full of announcements nobody saw.

Never reached chat — Ocoya tells you

Twitch says the same thing to us either way, so most tools tick the second one off as posted. Ocoya checks whether it actually arrived, and tells you when it did not.

Both at once

Streaming on Twitch and Kick? Write it once.

Kick works the same way — chat only, 500 characters a message, long captions split into replies. Pick both channels on one draft and the same announcement goes out to each at the same minute, without retyping it.

Kick and Twitch are the two Streaming integrations. Everything else you connect sits on the same calendar beside them.

What Twitch accepts

Chat, and only chat.

Worth knowing before you plan a campaign around it: an application can publish a chat message to a Twitch channel and nothing else.

Sign-inOne permission: post in chat

Connecting asks Twitch for one thing: permission to post in your chat. Nothing about your stream, your subscribers or your account settings is requested, and you can disconnect it from Twitch at any time.

Announce it automatically

A schedule trigger and one action is enough to have your channel post its own go-live message every week, with the copy written for you.
