Ocoya vs Planly
An affordable social media scheduler with AI ideas, analytics and a white-label edition.
Planly is a tidy, low-cost scheduler: $15 a month to start, an AI assistant for post ideas and captions on every plan, analytics with competitor tracking from Team up, and an API. It caps out early, though — the Agency plan stops at 16 channels and 8 users, the inbox covers Facebook and Instagram only, and approvals are on the top plan. Ocoya costs more at the bottom and gives more for it: AI images, a design studio, one-prompt campaigns, an inbox across nine channels, workflows and room for 100 profiles. If you schedule a handful of accounts and want the numbers, Planly. If you are producing the content, us.

| Capability | ||
|---|---|---|
| Entry price | $29/mo on Starter — 5 social profiles, 300 AI credits, unlimited users | $15/mo on Individual, or $10/mo billed annually — 4 channels, 1 user, 100 scheduled posts per channel |
| Price at 20 profiles | $79/mo on Team — 20 social profiles, 1,500 AI credits, unlimited users | Not on a listed plan — Agency stops at 16 channels and 8 users for $80/mo ($53/mo billed annually); beyond that is a custom Enterprise quote |
| Team seats | Unlimited users on every plan — invite your whole team and your clients at no extra cost, no per-seat pricing | 1 user on Individual, 4 on Team, 8 on Agency; more only on a custom Enterprise quote |
| AI copywriting | AI captions from a prompt, with brand voice, tone and length controls, on every plan — plus rewrite, shorten, expand, tone and translate on any caption. Copilot, beside the post editor, also writes or reworks a caption when you ask | AI Content Assistant on every plan — post ideas, captions and hashtags, from 100 credits a month on Individual |
| AI image & video | AI image generation in-app — in Copilot, the post composer, campaigns and workflows, from the same credit pool. No AI video generation yet | No image or video generation advertised |
| Campaign generation | One prompt becomes a whole campaign — posts, visuals and a schedule across every network. Blog campaigns start from keyword research and write a run of SEO articles, each with an SEO score, for your blog or CMS | The assistant can draft several posts from one prompt — text only, no visuals or schedule |
| Design tooling | Design Studio built in — templates, brand kit and a full editor in the same tab as the calendar | Media editing plus Google Drive, Dropbox and Unsplash imports — no design editor advertised |
| Networks | Integrations: Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Pinterest, Bluesky, Threads, YouTube Shorts, Google Business, TikTok, Telegram, Slack, Discord, Mastodon, Dribbble, Tumblr, WordPress, DEV.to, Whop, Notion, Airtable, Framer, Wix, Twitch, Kick, WooCommerce, and Custom | Ten networks: TikTok, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, X, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Mastodon, YouTube and Bluesky |
| Unified inbox | DMs, comments, mentions and Google reviews from Facebook, Instagram, Bluesky, Google Business, Telegram, Discord, Mastodon, WordPress and Whop in one inbox, with AI reply suggestions, assignment, open/resolved statuses and internal notes. On Facebook and Instagram you can also hide or delete a comment and ban its author | Comments and messages from Facebook and Instagram — Team and Agency plans only |
| Workflow automation | Visual workflows that start on a schedule, from an RSS feed or a webhook, a new WooCommerce product, a new Notion, Airtable, Framer or Wix item, or a new DM, comment or review — with AI text and image steps — then publish to any channel or reply. An AI agent can trigger them too | Through Zapier — schedule posts from Google Sheets, RSS feeds, Trello and other apps |
| MCP / AI assistant control | mcp.ocoya.com — an OAuth-secured MCP server covering the whole product: create, design, schedule, run workflows and switch brands. Included on every plan | No MCP server published; a REST API is available on paid plans, not during the trial |
| Analytics | In private beta — not yet open to every account | Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and Pinterest, with competitor analytics and up to six months of history on Team, a year on Agency |
| Approval workflows | Request approval on any post: pick which brand members review it, they get an email with one-click approve or reject, and the post cannot publish until it is approved. Every decision is logged on the post. Not gated behind a higher tier | Approval Flow with per-client rules — Agency plan only |
| White label | Not offered | A white-label edition — Planly’s scheduler on your own domain and brand, to resell at your own prices; priced on request |
| Link in bio | Bio pages built in — a link-in-bio page at yourname.tool.bio on every plan (each page uses one social profile slot) | Addto.bio pages — 1, 3 or 5 depending on plan |
| Free trial | 7-day free trial of the full product | 14-day free trial on Individual, Team and Agency |
| SEO content | SEO blog campaigns built in — keyword research finds what people search for, AI writes a run of articles around those keywords, each gets an SEO score with one-click fixes, and they publish to your blog or CMS on a schedule | No keyword research or article writing — social posts only |
| Email marketing | Email marketing built in — unlimited contacts, signup forms and imports, AI-written emails in your brand voice, a block editor, and scheduled sends from your own domain, all in the same plan as your social posts | No email campaigns or newsletters — social channels only |
