Ocoya vs Iconosquare
Analytics-first social media management — plan, publish and prove what is working on social.
Iconosquare is built around measurement: post, story and campaign analytics, competitor and hashtag tracking, custom dashboards and Uma, an AI analyst that explains why a metric moved. Scheduling, an inbox and an AI caption writer sit around that core, and its MCP server lets Claude or ChatGPT read your analytics and draft posts. It has a free plan and starts at €9/mo for three profiles, but the price climbs with the profile count — €219/mo for 20 profiles and three users. Ocoya is the other way round: content creation comes first, with image generation, a design studio, campaigns, workflows, SEO articles and email, while our own analytics is still in private beta. If reporting is your job, choose Iconosquare. If producing the posts is, choose us.
Where each one is stronger.
Every claim in the Iconosquare column comes from a page they publish, checked in November 2026. Rows where they are ahead are marked as such.
| Capability | ||
|---|---|---|
| Free plan | No free plan — a 7-day free trial instead | Free plan — 2 profiles, 1 user, 10 posts a month per profile, 1 month of analytics history |
| Entry price | $29/mo on Starter — 5 social profiles, 300 AI credits, unlimited users | From €9/mo excl. VAT billed yearly on Starter — up to 3 profiles, 1 user, 30 posts a month; the inbox comes with Launch from €33/mo |
| Price at 20 profiles | $79/mo on Team — 20 social profiles, 1,500 AI credits, unlimited users | €219/mo excl. VAT billed yearly on Scale — 20 profiles, 3 users |
| Team seats | Unlimited users on every plan — invite your whole team and your clients at no extra cost, no per-seat pricing | 1 user on Free, Starter and Launch; 3 on Scale; more only on a Custom plan |
| Analytics | In private beta — not yet open to every account | Analytics-first — post, story, reel and campaign analytics, custom dashboards, up to 2 years of history, and Uma, an AI analyst that explains changes |
| AI copywriting | AI captions from a prompt, with brand voice, tone and length controls, on every plan — plus rewrite, shorten, expand, tone and translate on any caption. Copilot, beside the post editor, also writes or reworks a caption when you ask | AI writes captions, hashtags and emojis for each platform, suggests content ideas, and refines tone or translates — from Starter |
| AI image & video | AI image generation in-app — in Copilot, the post composer, campaigns and workflows, from the same credit pool. No AI video generation yet | No AI image or video generation advertised — the AI writes text |
| Campaign generation | One prompt becomes a whole campaign — posts, visuals and a schedule across every network. Blog campaigns start from keyword research and write a run of SEO articles, each with an SEO score, for your blog or CMS | AI content ideas for a profile and goal, sent to the scheduler to be built into posts |
| Design tooling | Design Studio built in — templates, brand kit and a full editor in the same tab as the calendar | Adobe Express integration — no design editor of their own |
| Networks | Integrations: Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Pinterest, Bluesky, Threads, YouTube Shorts, Google Business, TikTok, Telegram, Slack, Discord, Mastodon, Dribbble, Tumblr, WordPress, DEV.to, Whop, Notion, Airtable, Framer, Wix, Twitch, Kick, WooCommerce, and Custom | Eight networks — Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X (from Launch), Pinterest, Threads and YouTube |
| Unified inbox | DMs, comments, mentions and Google reviews from Facebook, Instagram, Bluesky, Google Business, Telegram, Discord, Mastodon, WordPress and Whop in one inbox, with AI reply suggestions, assignment, open/resolved statuses and internal notes. On Facebook and Instagram you can also hide or delete a comment and ban its author | Comments from Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn and DMs from Instagram and Facebook in one inbox, with read/unread marking and saved replies — no assignment advertised; from the Launch plan |
| Workflow automation | Visual workflows that start on a schedule, from an RSS feed or a webhook, a new WooCommerce product, a new Notion, Airtable, Framer or Wix item, or a new DM, comment or review — with AI text and image steps — then publish to any channel or reply. An AI agent can trigger them too | A Zapier integration for connecting other tools — no workflow builder advertised |
| MCP / AI assistant control | mcp.ocoya.com — an OAuth-secured MCP server covering the whole product: create, design, schedule, run workflows and switch brands. Included on every plan | An MCP server for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and others — it reads your analytics and drafts posts into the calendar for you to confirm |
| Social listening | Not offered | Competitor, hashtag and custom-feed tracking with industry benchmarks — from the Scale plan |
| Approval workflows | Request approval on any post: pick which brand members review it, they get an email with one-click approve or reject, and the post cannot publish until it is approved. Every decision is logged on the post. Not gated behind a higher tier | Post approval for clients or colleagues — from the Scale plan (€69/mo for 5 profiles) |
| White-label reporting | Not offered | Reports with your logo and no Iconosquare watermark; fully customizable white-label reporting on Custom |
| SEO content | SEO blog campaigns built in — keyword research finds what people search for, AI writes a run of articles around those keywords, each gets an SEO score with one-click fixes, and they publish to your blog or CMS on a schedule | Not in Iconosquare — Surfer, a separate product from the same parent company, Positive, sells SEO content tools |
| Email marketing | Email marketing built in — unlimited contacts, signup forms and imports, AI-written emails in your brand voice, a block editor, and scheduled sends from your own domain, all in the same plan as your social posts | Not in Iconosquare — User, a separate Positive product, does CRM and email marketing |
| Link in bio | Bio pages built in — a link-in-bio page at yourname.tool.bio on every plan (each page uses one social profile slot) | Not listed on their pricing or features pages |
